INTRODUCTION

Plaintiffs Manuel García Guzmán and Maria Emilia García Urgüelles (“Garcías”) brought the instant action against the defendants Elena Ramírez de Arrellano de Villoldo, et al., (“Villoldos”) for malicious prosecution and for the illegal attachment of plaintiffs’ real and personal property. Following several procedural events, and finding no factual dispute regarding defendant’s illegal attachment of $6,862,1 granted partial summary judgment in favor of the Garcias.
