ARENAS, United States Magistrate Judge.
I. FACTUAL & PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND
On December 25, 1999, Mrs. Eulogia Lueiano-Méndez passed away in Puerto Rico. (Docket No. 17, at 3.) Plaintiffs, Gladys Figueroa, Jéssiea Figueroa, Julie Figueroa, Modesto Figueroa, Ivelisse Figueroa, represented by Gladys Figueroa (hereinafter, “the Figueroas”), were informed of the death of Mrs. Luciano Mén-dez and thus made arrangements to travel to Puerto Rico to attend her funeral.
