Applicant, Michael LaHood, was convicted of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault. On direct appeal, the Fourteenth District Court of Appeals affirmed his convictions in a published opinion. LaHood v. State, 171 S.W.3d 613 (Tex.App.-Houston [14th Dist.] 2005, pets, ref'd). We subsequently refused his petitions for discretionary review.
