Gboweh Dickson George v. State
Texas Court of Appeals, 1st District (Houston)
1Opinion of the Court
OPINION
TERRY JENNINGS, Justice.
A jury found appellant, Gboweh Dickson George, guilty of the offense of murder 1 and assessed his punishment at confinement for seventy-five years. In six issues, appellant contends that he received ineffective assistance of counsel and the trial court erred in not conducting an informal inquiry into his competency to stand trial, excluding him from the courtroom during trial, not instructing the jury to disregard his absence from trial, denying his motion for mistrial, and admitting certain photographs into evidence.
We affirm.
