In this appeal we are asked to determine whether the trial court correctly granted a motion for directed verdict in favor of a corporate officer defending against the claims of the corporation. Sunrise Technical Investments (the corporation) alleged that its president and bookkeeper, John Hunter, breached his fiduciary duty and committed actionable fraud in misrepresenting the value of stock redeemed by the corporation.
