On September 11, 1922, the Chicago, Detroit & Canada Grand Trunk ^Junction Railroad Company filed its petition to condemn a triangular piece of land amounting to about 2.4 acres situated at the intersection of its line with a highway in Macomb county, known as the Nine Mile road. The land is located on the south side of the highway west of and adjacent to the railroad’s right of way. It fronts a little over 350 feet on the highway and extends 500 feet along petitioner’s right of way, the length of the third side being a fraction over 696 feet.
