Maternal grandparents appeal from an order of the district court granting custody of their two grandchildren to the father and stepmother of the children. The grandparents raise nine points on appeal which we consolidate and discuss as follows: (1) whether the trial court abused its discretion in the hearing following remand; (2) whether the trial court’s order entered after remand exceeded the court’s jurisdiction; (3) whether the trial court erred in rejecting the findings of fact submitted by grandparents; and (4) whether the findings of fact adopted by the trial…
