This appeal arises out of a mandamus action brought to compel the defendants, the planning and zoning commission of the town of East Granby (commission), the town of East Granby (town), and the East Granby planning and zoning director: (1) to grant an application for a special permit and approve a site plan sought in connection with the construction of a gasoline service station/convenience store on one parcel of land; and (2) to approve of a revised site plan for an adj oining parcel of land allowing the construction of an entrance to, and exit from, the gasoline service…
