Appeal from the District Court of the Twelfth Judicial District, County of San Francisco. This was a suit for divorce from the bonds of matrimony, brought by the wife against her husband. The complaint alleges that the plaintiff was married to the defendant on the twenty-fourth of May, 1854, at San Francisco, and as grounds of divorce, charges : 1. That after the marriage of the parties, the defendant became, and has been for the space of two years last past, and still is, habitually intemperate, idle, and profligate; 2.
