OPINION OF THE COURT

2Per curiam

Contrary to his pleas, the appellant was convicted of disorderly in quarters, communication of a threat, assault and battery, and failure to obey a lawful order.1 He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for three months, forfeiture of $299.00 pay per month for four months, and reduction to the grade of Private E-l. The convening authority approved the sentence. The case is before this Court for mandatory review pursuant *830to Article 66, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. § 866 (1976).
