On October 5, 2010, Robert Majchrzak (“Plaintiff’) filed this lawsuit, alleging that Wayne County (“the County”) and Kerreen Conley wrongfully terminated his employment in response to his raising concerns about faulty equipment at a sewage pumping station. Plaintiff and Defendants filed cross-motions for summary judgment pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 56, and these motions are presently before the Court.
