Marshall, J.:
The plaintiff sued the city of Kansas City and the other defendants for damages caused by injuries inflicted on him by a mob in that city. Judgment was rendered against the city in favor of the plaintiff for the sum of $8,000. Judgment was rendered in favor of the other defendants against the plaintiff. The city appeals.
