On March 25, 1993, Deborah Bagley; her daughters, Necole1 and Brittney Bagley; Necole's grandmother, Evelyn Boglin; and Deborah's friend, Ronnie Lockett (hereinafter collectively referred to as "the Bagleys"), sued Mazda Motor Corporation ("Mazda") and Creekside Motors, Inc. ("Creekside"), seeking damages under the Alabama Extended Manufacturer's Liability Doctrine ("AEMLD") on claims alleging breach of warranty and negligence.
