MACK KIDD, Justice.
Appellant Bryan Scott Horton and another sixteen-year-old boy, Jeremy Keith Coffey, murdered a sixteen-year-old girl in her home, apparently because they wanted to take her father’s pistol. Appellant and Coffey were taken into custody three days after the murder and, within hours, appellant confessed. Appellant, after being certified for trial as an adult, waived his right to trial by jury. The district court found him guilty of murder and sentenced him to imprisonment for forty years. 1 See Tex.
