¶ 1. Arvind Kumar, individually and d/b/a Holiday Inn of Columbus, Tony Savage, and Tracey Savage (defendants) appeal the Lowndes County Circuit Court’s denial of their motion to set aside a default judgment which was entered against them based on a complaint filed by Shanna Lop-er. Before the complaint was filed, the defendants’ attorney, Ed Pleasants, had written a letter to Loper’s attorney denying Loper’s claims.
