This suit was brought by E. A. Blount against the Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fé Railway Company and the Gulf, Beaumont & Great Northern Railway Company in trespass to try title to 18 acres of land, part of the Jesse Amason survey in Shelby county. The defendants answered by general demurrer, general denial, plea of not guilty, and disclaimed as to all the land sued for except 8.64 acres thereof, which are described by metes and bounds in their answer.
