HATCHETT, Chief Judge:
Appellants Jesse and Sandra Gamble appeal the district court’s affirmance of the bankruptcy court’s order denying their motion to turnover exempt property until conclusion of their chapter 13 proceeding. Recognizing that “property claimed as exempt ... is exempt” and that exempt property is not part of the bankruptcy estate, we reverse the denial of the Gambles’ motion and remand this ease with instructions to turn over the Gambles’ exempted property.
