The defendant, Rhoderick Boyd, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of sexual assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-70 (a) (1), kidnapping in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-92 (a) (2) (A) and assault in the third degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-61 (a) (1).
