The sole issue in the state’s interlocutory public interest appeal 2 is whether the trial court improperly departed from the ruling of State v. Esposito, 192 Conn. 166, 179-80, 471 A.2d 949 (1984), and its progeny when it ordered full disclosure of a complainant’s confidential mental health records to the defense based solely on the complainant’s prior consent to the disclosure of such records to the police and prosecuting authorities.
