MEMORANDUM OPINION
LATCHUM, Chief Judge.
In this case, the Court is called upon to consider the scope of the absolute privilege accorded to statements made during the course of judicial proceedings. Plaintiff, Fred W. Hoover, has filed suit against the brokerage firm of First Jersey Securities, Inc. (“First Jersey”), and one of its agents, Robert Van Stone, for alleged violations of the federal securities laws.
