HORSEY, Justice:

This is an appeal from Superior Court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of defendants, Dr. Peter S. Huang (“Huang”) and Insurance Corporation of America (“ICA”). The plaintiff, Ellen Barker (“Barker”), filed a complaint in Superior Court, seeking damages for defamation of character, libel, slander, tortious invasion of privacy, wrongful use of civil proceedings, abuse of process, intentional infliction of emotional distress, outrageous conduct and civil conspiracy to engage in each of the foregoing torts.
