On January 22, 2016, plaintiff José A. López-Rivera (“López”) initiated this diversity tort action by filing a complaint against Hospital Auxilio Mutuo, Inc. (“hospital”), a group of doctors at the hospital, the doctors’ spouses and Conjugal Partnerships, and the insurer SIMED. ECF No. 1.
