Plaintiff appeals from a judgment for defendant, entered by the trial court notwithstanding a jury verdict for plaintiff.

Plaintiff, who was about 27 years old, and one Plourd were employed by defendant to paint the window frames, sash, and eaves of defendant’s house in the city of Hancock. Defendant was to furnish the paint and ladders and to pay plaintiff and Plourd $12 for their work, of which each was to receive $6.
