The lead plaintiffs in this action represent a proposed class of persons who purchased stock in defendant KeySpan Corporation (“KeySpan,” or “the Company”) between November 4, 1999, and January 24, 2002. By the Consolidated Class Action Complaint (“the complaint”), filed May 13, 2002, plaintiffs allege that defendants, KeySpan and 13 of its most senior officers and directors (“the individual defendants”; collectively with KeySpan, “defendants”), violated Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (“the Exchange Act”), 15 U.S.C. § 78j(b), and…
