The plaintiff-appellant, Ohio Casualty Insurance Company (Ohio), an Ohio corporation, sued Ambrose F. Mohan, a citizen of Pennsylvania, and his insurer, Carolina Casualty Insurance Company (Carolina), a North Carolina corporation, 1 seeking indemnification, or in the alternative, contribution, for a judgment paid by Ohio on behalf of its insured, Jim Banes Ford, Inc.
