HAYS, Chief Justice.
On January 10, 1969, seven University of Arizona students named Harper, Dobras, Logan, Lawrence, Murray Alan McBride, and Judith McBride, sued the Arizona Board of Regents (hereinafter referred to as the Board) for the purpose of forcing the Board to reclassify them as residents' of Arizona and to refund the nonresident tuition they had paid, and asking the court to declare the one-year residency unconstitutional.
