I. INTRODUCTION

In this action, Plaintiff, Kathleen Williamson, seeks to recover damages from her former psychology professor, defendant Alan Bernstein (“Bernstein”), Fitch-burg State College (“the College”), and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (“the Commonwealth”). Plaintiff claims that Bernstein negligently provided educational and therapeutic counseling services to her and then induced her to engage in sexual relations with him.
