Defendant-appellant Mark Steven Anderson (hereinafter referred to as appellant) was found guilty by a jury of the offense of Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the First Degree. He was thereafter sentenced by the circuit court to pay a fine of $150 and was placed on probation for a period of five years. Appellant challenges his conviction on the ground that he was entrapped into committing the prohibited conduct for which he was arrested.
