This is a host and guest automobile accident case. It occurred in the early afternoon on a clear day, at the intersection of Woodland Park avenue and 40th street in Seattle. The avenue runs north and south, and crosses 40th street at right angles. Both streets were paved. There were double street car tracks on the avenue, the center of the avenue being between the two car tracks.
