STONE, District Judge.

Realizing the importance to the Government and the defendants of a correct decision of the questions raised on the motions after verdict, and being conscious Of the responsibility necessarily cast upon the Court, I have made a careful and thoughtful restudy of the evidence as it applies to each defendant, separately and jointly. I have considered in detail the contentions of all the defendants as advanced in the motions after verdict, and have studied the many able briefs submitted on behalf of the Government and the defendants.
