Following a jury trial in McLean County, defendant Gregory Lee Chambers was convicted of the murder of Carlette Walton and sentenced to 60 years’ imprisonment. He now appeals, contending the following errors:(1) His fifth amendment right to remain silent was violated because police continued interrogation after he invoked that right, where he had not waived that right.
