SMITH, Circuit Judge.

On the day that jury selection was scheduled to begin, Scott E. Mink entered a plea of guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking offense. The district court sentenced Mink to 60 months’ imprisonment on the drug conspiracy charge and a consecutive term of 5 years’ imprisonment on the firearm charge. In addition, the district court imposed jury costs in the amount of $3,390.69 against Mink. Mink appeals only the taxation of jury costs, arguing that the costs…
