E. K. Cumming, hereinafter called plaintiff, recovered judgment in the superior court of Santa Cruz county against one H. J. Farmer for $527.30. On September 12th, 1931, and after such judgment, he had a writ of garnishment served upon the Sonora Bank & Trust Company, hereinafter called the bank, which answered denying any indebtedness to Farmer.
