WOLLMAN, Circuit Judge.

LaVera Granetha Ashanti appeals the district court’s 1 grant of summary judgment to the City of Golden Valley (Golden Valley) on her federal and Minnesota constitutional claims arising from a criminal forfeiture proceeding. Because we con- elude that Ashanti’s claims are barred by res judicata, we affirm.

I. Background
