Plaintiff Westwood Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“Westwood”), claims that defendant National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation (“National Fuel”) is liable for Westwood’s past and future response costs associated with the release of hazardous substances on a parcel of land in Buffalo, New York, purchased by Westwood from National Fuel’s predecessor in interest, Iroquois Gas Corporation (“Iroquois”).
