This is an appeal from a judgment of sentence. Appellant Sujit Singh pled guilty to a one-count indictment for distribution of heroin in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) and 18 U.S.C. § 2. At sentence, the district court, rejecting the joint recommendation of defense counsel and government counsel, declined to award appellant the two-level reduction of base offense level for “affirmative acceptance of personal responsibility for his criminal conduct” permitted by Section 3El.l(a) of the Sentencing Guidelines. 1 Appellant contends that the…
