WOODEUFF, Circuit Judge.
On the 21st of October, 1870, Seth Adams, a creditor of the Boston, Hartford and Erie Eailroad Company, filed his petition in the district court for the district of Massachusetts, alleging that the said company had committed an act of bankruptcy, and praying that: it be adjudged a bankrupt, &c. On the 20th. of December, 1870, James Alden, also a creditor, presented his petition, with a like-allegation and prayer, to the district court for the district of Connecticut.
