An affidavit to the following effect was made before the fifth recorder of New Orleans:

“ On information received and belief, deponent charges that one Albert Faber, on Monday, September 13, 1897, between 12 and 12:30 o’clock, on Tuesday, September 21, 1897, between 9 and 9:15 o’clock A. m., and Monday, September 27, 1897, between 8 and 8:30 o’clock p. m. , at corner of Oherokee and Mississippi streets, and within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court, then and there did wilfully and unlawfully sell liquors by the glass, etc., in…
