On September 30, 1996, Christopher Michael Hodge, in his individual capacity and as the administrator of the estate of his wife, Misty Leigh Hodge, filed a complaint in the Circuit Court of Mobile County against R R Movers and Lawrence Cody Rivers (hereinafter collectively referred to as "R R").
