Appeal by the defendant, The New York Central and Hudson Eiver Eailroad Company, from a judgment of the County Court of Schenectady county in favor of the plaintiff; entered in the office of the clerk of said county on the 27th day of May, 1912, upon the decision of the court rendered after a trial at Special Term.

Lyon, J.:

This action was brought to recover the value of a handbag and contents which the plaintiff, on the afternoon of November 4, 1911, checked at the parcel room of the defendant at its station in the city of Albany, receiving therefor a duplicate cardboard coupon, two by three inches in size, upon the face of which was printed:

Central Railroad Company.

Lines Duplicate Coupon.
