This appeal arises from a dispute between a party in an action pending before the district court and her counsel. We reverse.

In 1975, appellant law firm agreed to represent Suzanne Ogle Broughten. Appellant’s representation of Broughten was based upon the terms of a retainer agreement which provided for payment to the law firm at certain rates. Record, vol. 2, at 298.
