Plaintiff, Jean Fonden, appeals the order of the trial court granting the motion to compel arbitration made by defendant, U.S. Home Corporation (USH). We dismiss the appeal.
I. Background
In September 2000, Fonden contracted to purchase real property from USH and to have USH construct a home on it. The contract includes an arbitration clause that states in relevant part: (1) the transaction involved interstate commerce; (2) any dispute would be submitted to mediation; (3) if not settled during mediation, it would be submitted to binding arbitration as provided by the…
