Bodine, J.

The defendant appeals from a judgment in favor of the plaintiff in an action on three promissory notes differing only in amount. The form and endorsement of the notes were precise with the following:

“$2,500 Egg Harbor City, N. J., December 5, 1929.

Four months after date we promise to pay to the order of Max Orocofsky at the Egg Harbor Commercial Bank, Egg Harbor City, N. J., $2,500 and 00 cts. dollars.

With defalcation for value received.
