The claimant, on October 27, 1929, at the age of 53 years, broke his hip, as the result of a fall from a scaffold during the course of his employment as a janitor. A compensation agreement was entered into on December 31,1929, under which he was to be paid $13 per week for the statutory period, or until the agreement should be terminated. The amount of compensation was subsequently reduced, by supplemental agreement, to $8.45 per week.
