Plaintiffs, Linda Millican and Nigel Clayton, sought damages for the wrongful death of their two-year-old daughter, April Lea Clayton, and Linda Millican sought damages for negligent infliction of emotional distress. The jury awarded the plaintiffs $4,024 on the wrongful death claim and $7,500 on Linda Millican’s separate claim for negligent infliction of emotional distress.
