Federico M. Cortez appeals from a judgment of conviction entered pursuant to a jury verdict finding him guilty of felony injury to a child. I.C. § 18-1501(1). For the reasons stated below, we affirm.

BACKGROUND

Federico M. Cortez began living with the mother of a two-year-old girl on September 1, 1995. On the evening of September 19, Cortez watched the child for approximately six hours while the mother visited a friend.
