A number of the heirs of Almeda Anderson instituted this proceeding to discover assets in the Probate Court of Jackson County, Missouri, pursuant to § 473.340 RSMo Supp.1973. (All other statutory references in this opinion are to RSMo 1969). The petition alleged that defendants Glenn Reifsteck and his wife Syble Reifsteck had concealed and withheld from the estate certain enumerated property of the deceased.
