The sole issue before us in this workers’ compensation proceeding is whether Minn. Stat. § 176.131, subd. 3(b) (1984) permitted registration of the employee as physically impaired more than 180 days after her employer and its compensation insurer had received notice of a compensable work injury that employee had sustained on September 20, 1980.
