Simons, J.
Defendant has been convicted of one count of conspiracy in the fifth degree, six counts of offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree, and two counts of perjury in the first degree. The charges arise out of a scheme to defraud insurance companies by fabricating the injuries and treatment of automobile accident victims. The participants included doctors, insurance agents and others who conspired with the law offices of Stuart R. Kramer, P. C. from 1979 through 1984.
