The majority’s opinion in this case finds that Mr, Dudding’s claims against Professional Bureau of Collections of Maryland, Inc. (“the Bureau”) do not survive his death. Even though the Bureau repeatedly called Mr. Dudding using a number that masked its true identity, persistently called Mr. Dudding while he was on his deathbed, blatantly ignored repeated requests to call Mr. Dud-ding’s attorney during Mr. Dudding’s final days in hospice care, and continued to call Mr. Dudding’s cell phone after his passing, the majority’s decision herein effectively, excuses the Bureau for all of these…
